110th Anniversary Oreos

The Big 110!
This past March, Nabisco celebrated Oreos' big 110 anniversary with the all-new chocolate confetti cake release! For over a century, Oreos have brought joy to billions of sweet tooths around the globe. With humble beginnings, Oreos entered the market in 1912. Only two flavors were available: original and lemon. Now, with over 100 flavors, they have acquired a fearless fan base that stays loyal to milk's favorite cookie through ups and downs! From repugnant wasabi to decadent red velvet, we've been through it all! We are B and V and WE RATE OREOS!

Creativity
V- So creative! I love when Oreos are cake-flavored. The red velvet and carrot cake remain some of my favorites. Nabisco already has a birthday cake flavor that's wildly popular, so they stepped it up for the big 110. You have the colorful confetti embedded in the chocolate cookies with two layers of creme: chocolate cake and birthday confetti cake. It's a complex, multi-layered cake minimized into a cookie!

B- Agreed with V. They do a good job with cake-cookies. And they tend to get higher scores from us for a reason!

Execution
B- YES. Dead ringer for chocolate cake batter. All the joy of licking the mixing bowl with none of the mess.

V- There is a lot going on in these cookies! Some give you more chocolate cake, and others give you more vanilla confetti. I see no issues!

Does it Sparkle?
V- It literally sparkles! The cookies have colorful confetti sprinkles all over them, adding life to the dark-brown chocolate cookies. The layers are neat and crisp, so you can appreciate both of the cake flavors. The confetti sprinkles trickle beautifully into the vanilla birthday cake layer. I do not understand how they keep the cremes from getting all blended when they do different layers of creme!

B- The confetti in the cookie pieces make this version *extra* in the best way possible. Totally continued to find sprinkles in the bottom of the milk glass after eating too.

Pairing
B- Pair with milk, ice cream, a party. Hold the clowns.

V- These would be a perfect garnish for an Oreo-themed cake or cupcake. With all the different cake flavors going on, there is a lot of sweetness here. Pair them with black coffee or some Earl Grey if you eat Oreos for breakfast like I (sometimes) do.

Buy Again
V- If they stay on the market, yes! There is a reason the original birthday cake flavor remains a staple.

B- 100% would buy again also.

Overall
B- These were a fun surprise. Still not sure how I didn't notice the confetti in my first cookie of the batch...

V- These are awesome! Happy 110th birthday! I hope I have as cool of a legacy when I am that old!
