Mint to Be Who doesn't love Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream? We have Marilyn Ricketts, an English culinary student, to thank for inventing this delightful flavor in 1973. Originally called "Mint Royale," Ricketts' creation placed at a competition to provide a new ice cream flavor for Princess Anne's wedding at Westminster Abby. In continuation of Ricketts' creative spirit, Nabisco released Baskin-Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip Oreos this August 2019. Would these cookies meet royal standards? We'll find out!
